FluxWP runs on shared hosting without Redis, Node or a separate service.

## Requirements

| Setting | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| PHP | 7.4 | 8.2+ |
| WordPress | 6.6 | Latest |
| MySQL / MariaDB | 5.7 / 10.3 | 8.0 / 10.6+ |
| memory_limit | 128 MB | 256 MB |
| max_execution_time | 30 seconds | 60+ seconds |
| upload_max_filesize | 16 MB | 64 MB |

Required PHP extensions: curl, json, mbstring, zip and openssl. Recommended: intl, gd or imagick, and sodium.

## WordPress

Choose Post name permalinks so wiki, Markdown and REST routes work. Select a city timezone, for example Istanbul. Purge caches after updates.

WP-Cron handles backups, queued mail and reports. Low-traffic sites may need a hosting cron calling `https://example.com/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron` every five minutes. Disable WordPress's visitor-triggered cron only after confirming the hosting job works.

## System Check

With Flux Speed installed, System Check gathers PHP, extension, permalink, cron, mail, AI and package checks. Each error includes the action to take.

## Troubleshooting

- White screen or HTTP 500: check `wp-content/debug.log` and conflicting old plugins.
- Interrupted wizard: reopen it to install remaining packages.
- Wiki 404: save Settings → Permalinks.
- Mail not sent: check Flux Mail SMTP settings and daily sending limits.
- Missing update: verify the release workflow, refresh server packages and clear cache.
