Setup wizard step by step

The wizard opens when FluxWP Panel is activated. You can skip it and return from FluxWP Panel → Setup wizard.

Steps

  1. Welcome: review what FluxWP will install and start.
  2. Site type: choose a store (FluxWP theme and Flux Commerce) or association/donations (FluxWP theme and Flux Donate), or continue without a selection. Required external plugins such as WooCommerce are installed from WordPress.org.
  3. Plugins: review the recommended selections by category. Unchecked plugins can be installed later from Packages.
  4. Appearance: set the site name, tagline and logo; choose a preset or an empty site, a colour style and starter pages. Review the live preview.
  5. Install: each package has a progress row and console output. Retry failed packages from Packages.
  6. Ready: open the site or dashboard.

Usage data

The optional usage data checkbox is off by default. When enabled it sends the site URL, WordPress/PHP versions, timezone and language to the update server. Otherwise only the package information needed for updates is sent. Change consent in FluxWP Panel → Settings.

Troubleshooting

If the wizard does not open, activate the plugin as a site administrator and open it from the menu. If hosting terminates a request, reopen the wizard: installed packages are skipped. On an existing site, preview a preset before applying it.
