Apply a preset

A preset packages a site’s organisation profile, colours, fonts, header, footer, templates, pages, menus, media and plugin settings. It works with the FluxWP theme and FluxWP Panel.
Apply and revert
- Install and activate the preset plugin. On an empty site it is applied automatically.
- On an existing site open Appearance → Theme Settings → Presets.
- Preview the preset to review additions and changes.
- Apply when ready.
Revert undoes the preset. Added pages become drafts rather than being deleted. A preset updates a field only if you have not edited it yourself; the preview identifies manually changed fields.
Updates
FluxWP Panel → Presets lists pending preset updates. Preview, apply or skip each one. Updates marked automatic run when the preset is updated. This wiki’s Setup and Plugins sections are supplied by the FluxWP site preset.
Multiple presets may be installed. For conflicting settings the installed source takes priority; otherwise the first source in the list applies.
Export
Use FluxWP Panel → Presets → Export to download the site profile, settings, templates and pages as preset.json, then import it on another site. AI assistants can use preset_schema, preset_export, preset_patch_preview, preset_patch_apply and preset_revert.
